Pitahaya wine

Dragon Island

Alcoholic beverage obtained by fermenting white pitahaya grapes and passion fruit.

Legend has it...

...one night of the full moon, Princess Tayda was walking through a cactus garden she had never seen before. As she went deeper she discovered the flowers. They were disproportionate in size, beauty and aroma. Excited, she picked all she could and without realizing it, when she pulled out the last one, she pricked herself on a cactus and a drop of blood stained one of the beautiful flowers. Furious, Isora saw that her garden had been invaded. She recognized the royal blood and invoked Guayota, decreeing a spell that would turn her into a Dragon. "You will be called Dragon, the Dragon, and you will never pick another flower." The sad Dragon went far away but returned every full moon to drink the dew from her flowers. At the same time, Isora was walking through her garden and was surprised when she saw that from the flower where she had found the royal blood a fruit had grown that reminded her of a dragon. Impressed, she thought that she should make an elixir based on the precious fruit to which she added a few grains of ripe grape and thus free the princess from her punishment. On the next full moon, Drágora returned to drink from the flowers that Isora had bathed with her most precious concoction and at that moment the spell was broken and thus this elixir of a story without princes was born, only for them.
