The pitaya is a tropical fruit with a very versatile flavor, because depending on the variety, its flavor can be neutral, sweet (16-18 brix degrees) or sour. This makes it a very useful and transformable fruit for all kinds of drinks and dishes.
SELLING: At Pitaber, we commercialise 4 varieties of this fruit, which are harvested at their optimum ripening stage, in order to guarantee the customer a higher quality of flavor and sweetness.
PACKAGING & RECOLECCTION: It is a non-climacteric fruit, which means that once harvested it does not ripen, which is why it is harvested at its optimum state of ripeness in order to obtain the maximum properties.
Harvesting, cleaning and packaging are all done by hand, piece by piece. To guarantee maximum quality and handling of the fruit.
PRESERVATION: At room temperature Refrigerated at 6-8 º C It is recommended not to break the cold chain for a longer shelf life.
